BadDecissions: It's not looking to me like they're make their second stretch goal, but still really pumped over this.
I think they'll make it to $ 650,000, thanks to the Paypal pledges.

Less than 60,000 to go, and they still have a week. :)
I want...

gameon: But if the person already has some of the games, that one code could be redeemed by someone else who doesn't have those remaining games. Surely.

TheEnigmaticT: Possibly? I don't recall how the new code generation works. I *think* that's correct, but let me check to be sure.
Any concrete answer to this? I also asked Revolution about it, but got no reply on the matter.

As for BASS2 - Charles had already put $500k towards the development of BS5 before the Kickstarter, so instead of doing the same for BASS2, he's asking $200K from the fans and in return they'll put some BASS2 related easter eggs in BS5.

I"m still on the fence. Though I was excited at first, the update about making the first stretch goal took half of it away. What was shown in the video felt like BS5 is primarly developed for touch/ mobile devices and PC/ Mac/Linux will just get a port. And voices pointing this out were more or less ignored and that feels a bit like "$$ keeps coming in, so all's well".

Hm. I've been on vacation all week, so I dunno.

I've seen the (very) early builds of BS5 and I'm confident it's a lot more than a "port" of the mobile version of the game when you play it on PC.

Thanks for getting back to me, TET and I trust you had a good time on your vacation (lucky you!).

Any chance we could get an official word from GOG on the code question?

I hope you're right about the "not_a_port" part.
It seems we'll be able to gift the games that we already own.

Here is the answer I received through Kickstarter to my question:

Hi Sebastien,

Thanks so much for your support!

I am happy to say that GOG have agreed that any games you already own on GOG can be gifted to someone else. We hadn't thought about this before the Kickstarter launched, but we got quite a few people asking the same question. So when we took it to GOG this was the solution they suggestion. They're really nice like that. :D

Many thanks,

Nina

Well, we're past 650K. Moving on to 700 K.
sebarnolds got back to you guys before I could. We worked out the answer, let Revolution know, and I was on my way to tell you guys. He is correct. :)
I must say that you were pretty slow on this case 'cause I had that email in my mailbox for almost a week :-)
38 hours to go and we need $72k to achieve the ambiguous goal of "allow us to realise our wildest ambitions" and $272k to green light BASS2.

Sounds good to me, anyway. If you are thinking about pledging, do it now before its too late!
