Hmm things are getting started... Aliens: Colonial Marines confirmed, Tomb Raider reboot gets a nice trailer. Damnnn and Konami announced Metal Gear Solid HD Collection + Zone of the Enders HD Collection, can't go wrong with those two.

And what a day it was just yesterday: GOG getting EA onboard, The Witcher 2 for Xbox 360. And now, my surreal DNF demo downloading.

These CGI films are getting better in every year .

My top 10 desires:

1) New Obsidian RPG for PC - I am an Obsidian fanboy and supposedly they have a couple projects underway right now. I would love to hear about them.

2) Syndicate FPS from Starbreeze announcement - Long rumored, I hope it is true and would love to see footage. Also someone get cracking on an Xbox 360 emulator so I can play The Darkness.

3) Thief 4 announcement - We all know it is coming, same as above... footage please.

4) Diablo 3 release date - Won't happen, but I would like it to.

5) Jedi Knight sequel - Lucasarts have had secret Star Wars projects going on for a while now that they keep talking about. I would love for one of them to be a new Jedi Knight game with good ol' Kyle Katarn.

6) New Splinter Cell that is like Chaos Theory - Jade Raymond said Splinter Cell 6 is under development at her new studio. I want to see it, and I want it to be more like Chaos Theory than Conviction.

7) Alan Wake PC port - Won't happen, dammit.

8) Arkane Studios latest - What are they up to? They have a new game or two in development and were bought by Bethesda, but no announcement yet.

9) Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire PC ports - Won't happen at E3, but fuck you this is my desires list.

10) Doom 4 footage - Won't happen until Rage releases probably, but it has been in development a long time and I would like to see it.

Bonus 11) News on some under the radar PC projects. Haven't heard from Death to Spies 3 in a while. The people behind the Tex Murphy games hinted toward a new game in that series a long time back and I would love to hear about it. More about the Machinarium guys' new games would be cool. Other things like this.

10 Expectations:

1) Nintendo's new hardware, good or bad, will be jizzed on by every gaming journalist in existence.

2) Sony's new handheld, good or bad, will be mocked by every gaming journalist in existence.

3) Microsoft will talk about Kinect and media services for most of their show and annoy "hardcore" gamers.

4) Not a lot of new announcements since most companies like to do private press events now.

5) Gabe Newell will find a way to be relevant.

6) New Zelda game is coming out November this year, Nintendo do not care about Skyrim when asked about the conflict.

7) Ubisoft announces and shows a ton of games that are obviously bad, yet seem oblivious.

8) Games I am most looking forward to like Risen 2 will be largely ignored.

9) The gaming press will act like the PC does not exist in 95% of coverage except for when The Old Republic is shown, when they will act like it is the best thing ever.

10) Every PC exclusive will be an MMO or indie game.

Bonus 11) Except damn near everyone to be talking about mobile gaming and services being the future of the industry.

45min until the MS conference. :) Looks very good, indeed. I like the new Lara, it's way more human.

This CGI trailer looks good probably because it's the same team who made the Deus Ex 3 trailers, a Square Enix team. Yet people buy them. 1)Doesn't Sega owns them? Sorry then, no AP2 for you then.

2)Don't think they'll show the Syndicate game, I'll be surprised in a good way if they decide to show it. XCOM is looking very very boring though, BioShock meets L4D with black thingies jumping at you...

3)Thief 4 I'm anticipating too, maybe a little teaser... don't think they'll show much, because their focus now is releasing Deus Ex 3.

4)BlizzCon.

5)Would love too a new game, reminiscing Dark Forces 2, not the newer games... Highly likely that we'll only get Star Wars for Kinect this year though. Other remakes from LA would be welcome.

6)They delayed the Ghost Recon because it's damn generic, and now they're adding Kinect support for it. I wouldn't be surprised if SC follows the same route.

7)I lost my hope for this already.

8)Have no idea.

9) Won't happen. And maybe GTA5 will be exclusive to consoles. There's also MP3, PC announced already.

10)id is now Bethesda's marketing bitch. They're all controlling what's the media being released about Rage, they won't show Doom 4 before Rage ships. Maybe a generic teaser or 5 seconds footage at E3 or QuakeCon... but fucking id promised this 2 or 3 times already and didn't commited to it, that really disappointed me. Since Bethesda bought them they're only showing Xbox 360 footage, yeah...

11)ArmA3, RO2, others that I don't remember now. I can't wait to see the Battlefield 3 live demo, I hope it's on PC. Can't wait for Rage on PC too.

Expectations? Hmm..
I'll buy the Wii 2 only if it has backwards compatibility with the Wii. Gabe Newell will only be relevant for me again talking games, not business which he's good at, only when they reveal HL2:Ep3. Agree with 9). Nope to 10). And yet I won't care about the future of mobile gaming to 11).

for the other things: DEAD ISLAND 6 SEPTEMBER BABY

An underwhelming conference from MS. It could be that the internal planning of unifying it's platforms is eating away at MS's mind, but no mention of Windows Phone 7 (in terms of gaming, at least) or it's hyping of the upcoming MMO games is disappointing to say the least. If I was an investor, I'd be worried on how much they are banking on Kinect, which IS big success, but not one that's can provide MS's bread and butter.

Looking more forward to sony's now, since they'll show what just the new NGP is capable of and it's fantastic upcoming exclusives.

Oh, what sites are you guys using to watch the conferences? I have used game informer for the MS one, but kept finding the lag to be a bit too much.

Microsoft child actors division is announced, but it has been established for a couple of E3s already.

Of all things, only interesting to me was tomb Raider and Crytek's Ryse.

Star Wars was lame, unresponsive, laggy. It plays by itself, the saber doesn't swing in many different ways. Make a Dark Forces 2-ish game, please?

Surprised by Minecraft for Kinect, never thought Mojang would sign with them, they might be afraid of the clones selling more than Minecraft eh?

Also surprised that Skyrim wasn't at the conference, since Oblivion was famous on consoles.
