OmarTheSyrian: That Buried Alive show on October 1, 2005 in Oulu was EPIC!!, it's End of the Road from the The Funeral Album, do you still listen to Ville Laihiala?

Thank you man but I think I'll get it from the stamps. :)

Antimateria: I never listened laihiala I listened sentenced.. There was a time for well plenty kind of metal melodic, doom and even worse. Nah mostly I listened kinda female vocaliced melodic good music. like 10 years ago I still have some cd's Tristania and that other which was like tristania. =D It had that same quitarist.

mostly I remember lastly when I saw that mortal love was no more

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gsj2iC2Jpcs

and perhaps I'll remember what song or band is gnawing on me.

oh right

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iy7VWVD7zvU

it was Sirenia but there are that one band which eludes me
You know that Ville Laihiala was the front man of Sentenced don't you?
I don't know Tristania, I might check them out.

That's right, Sentenced singer is in a new band called PoisonBlack They're something like Metallica.
Nightwish is good and there are Wyrd and Wintersun too.
avatar
OmarTheSyrian: Well, it's working.... :/ No I'm not using it, it's not safe anymore, but maybe I can use it but without an Internet connection.
It's not hard but it's very expensive and people are barely living now days in the past 1$=50 local currency but now 1$=+200 so.....
You mean you don't feel safe with an XP and viruses out there or some other reason?

I see. And what are the daily/monthly wages over there? And are you able to get things like Paypal, Paysafe, credit cards, or other digital transfer services to make an online purchase or receive money?

I've heard poisonblack (and a bit of wintersun) and that isn't new (poisonblack) but better than american fake metal. =D

nowadays I listen just miley cyrus and other bands that make me hate myself. =P

Microsoft abandoned Xp this year in April so no more support, security or updates.

Monthly wages are +100$ and +75$ if you're a younger man like me or younger.
No Syria is banned from such things, but I can get money from outside by WU I guess and I can save money for a new PC but it's not important because the PC is my smallest problems, I might have to join the Army if I fail in my studies.

OmarTheSyrian: Sorry for being late the Electricity was surprisingly cut off *it's a daily routine*
I hope that.
I used to play many good games like Mount and Blade, Rise of Nations, Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends, The Lord Of The Rings: Battle For Middle Earth2...... when I had Windows Xp but now because my VGA is not compatible with Windows 7 I can't play so many games that I used to.
Of course:
Intel Celeron CPU 2.80 GHz
1 GB RAM, I had more but they were cooked with their slots.
GeForce 7600 GT 265 MB 128-bit (not compatible with Windows 7, I have tried to update it but I couldn't)
It must be difficult to play games when electricity goes on and off, especially if it's a game where you can't save anytime you want.
It looks like you enjoy strategy games a lot. How about Stronghold HD, do you have that one already? If not, I can give you a code, the game should run without problems on your system as its 2D and older.

Here's a photo from Syria, I was making a painting in front of the Citadel in Aleppo and some locals came to see what I was doing. I wonder what happened to all the people on the photo, I hope they're ok but there is no way to know.

HereForTheBeer: Been to Miami, been to LA. Meh. Rather not return.

Problem is that I have a traveling job, so I've seen many of these places for work - the industrial places - and my memory is tainted. So PR it is! Besides, I have a nephew-in-law from PR and maybe we can get some tips from him and my niece.
avatar
Elmofongo: Does your nephew live on the west side of Puerto Rico?

--

My dad boasts that we make really good food, especially sea food.
Not sure from where he hails. Next time I see him...

And looking forward to the food. I mean, REALLY looking forward to it.

Edit: those photos above are breaking my heart. I really hope peace comes your way soon.

Windows XP isn't that much of an issue. Worst case scenario, you get Xubuntu or something instead of Windows 7 and you work with Linux games.

Then certainly don't fail your studies! If you need help with those feel free to ask.
