eisberg77: No. I only care about the games, so being petty over a site redesign is a really dumb idea. Does the site redesign change anything for the games I play? No? Then why would I be so petty as to boycott them over something so minor as a site redesign?
Because nothing exists in a vacuum.
At the very least you have to consider that the redesign garners feedback. You can see the nature of that feedback. Now look at how Gog handles it.
Shit going down on Twitter? Immediate respone. Meanwhile many people who consider themselves long time customers are writing their asses off displaying dissatisfaction and pointing out tangible problems, yet they're given the cold shoulder.
The part where number of games was leaked innitially with the revamped reviews? While that shouldn't happen even once, mistakes happen. However we've already been through that a few months ago with less than stellar reception, you
can not mess this up again. That's not a mistake, that's people flat out not giving a fuck.
It doesn't end there. We could carry on like this for a long time. In fact we have been in several threads.
Do you see the problem now?
This isn't merely bad design, this is everything from breaking functionality over complete lack of communication to what appears to be flat out apathy. I could probably deal with the redesign, as horrible as it is, but I don't know how I'm going to handle whatever comes next. To tell you the truth, I'm a bit exhausted by Gog's wild ride.
