Pick from a selection of great games to unlock them!

This Week we're mixing things up: not only is there a vast selection of deals up to -85% to choose from, but spending money on them will score you more games for FREE!

There are three free games to unlock: Choose between Kyn, Tropico Reloaded, and Breach and Clear: Deadline Rebirth. The more you spend, the more games you get – spend $5 to pick one game, $10 for two games, and $15 to grab all three. If you're not paying in USD, these tiers are adjusted to your currency equivalents, with the exceptions of RUB, BRL, and CNY. Just remember that only purchases from this Weekly Sale are eligible.
Easy, right?

Now which games to buy, then? With so many good choices, that's going to be a tad more challenging, but we're here to help.
Fans of tactical gameplay should look no further than The Banner Saga or Hard West, whose delicious narrative perfectly envelops their crunchy turn-based core. If you prefer building and managing, it's probably a good time to discover the Tropico series, Dungeons 2, Port Royale, or Grand Ages: Medieval. For more out-of-the-box experiences, make sure to check out Oh Sir!...The Insult Simulator, Zombie Night Terror, Pathologic Classic HD, and the fiendishly fun Antihero, among others.

Both the Weekly Sale and the unlockables offer will last until September 18, 4 PM UTC.
All the purchases you complete throughout the sale will be calculated by us once it is over and count towards your free games.
The free games will be distributed via email starting on Tuesday, September 19th.
You'll get to pick the games of your choice through that same email.
Still no mail.
Gamespot is also having a giveaway for free gog games. I wonder which site will actually give out the codes first, gog or Gamespot?

EDIT: Oop, giveaway's already over, and they already gave out the codes. This giveaway didn't even take 24 hours and Gamespot already delivered their codes.

The sale said that free games would start going out on the 19th... but not a single person is reporting that they have theirs, so it looks like they didn't actually start on the 19th.
I'll add me to the list too - still nothing. Hopefully they'll manage to sort things out till the end of the week.
I contacted support and apparently they are:

Hello,
I apologise for the delay - right now we are compiling the list of the e-mail addresses, and the codes should be sent out soon.
Please note, that you will only get these codes if you agreed to receive e-mails from us. If you unsubscribed from our mailing at any point in the past, you will not get the e-mail with those free games as well.
You can check and adjust your subscriptions on your account, when you are logged in, here: https://www.gog.com/accou......nt/settings/subscriptions

Just checked those boxes, does this mean I'm not getting the games after all?

BeatriceElysia:
Hm... Which one do they mean I wonder? There are three different subscriptions, Releases and Announcements,
Promotions and hot deals, and Wishlist alerts. Well, I've been unsubscribed from all of them, yet I have gotten free game codes in the past without any issue as well as what I assume are the standard order confirmation emails from GOG. And there is no 'never ever email me ever ever' option at the page linked.

Looks like I'll be filling out my own support ticket for this.

Thanks for the warning.

Wow... they really thought that one through. Why don't they simply send it as a confirmation of (prior) purchase e-mail?

If you're going to do something like this, how about getting the email notifications about it out BEFORE the LAST DAY of the sale. Cause that's when I got it. Monday the 18th. Also, maybe make a point of including the DATES in the email. Cause the way it was worded made it look like it was the week of the 18th, not ending the 18th.

Glad I didn't buy any of the games. I opt'ed out of the mail lists when I signed up. I average about 500 emails a day, mostly server notices.

I don;t recall ever seeing that in the docs for the promotion but I didn;t go reading them closely since I skipped it.
Well I'm subscribed to all three and I still haven't had an email yet.

Per a post on the previous page, they're still putting together the list.

24 hours late so far though. Surely they should have been compiling the list a the sale progressed? They could at least have prepared the emails for any orders over $15 outright, thus reducing the workload for those waiting for one or two games.

No, it;s easier to run a single database check after the event than to run it continuously.
What's the big rush? If you're waiting for the freebie(s), you've bought at least one game in the sale, so should have something to keep you occupied for a little while at least. :P
