Pick from a selection of great games to unlock them!

This Week we're mixing things up: not only is there a vast selection of deals up to -85% to choose from, but spending money on them will score you more games for FREE!

There are three free games to unlock: Choose between Kyn, Tropico Reloaded, and Breach and Clear: Deadline Rebirth. The more you spend, the more games you get – spend $5 to pick one game, $10 for two games, and $15 to grab all three. If you're not paying in USD, these tiers are adjusted to your currency equivalents, with the exceptions of RUB, BRL, and CNY. Just remember that only purchases from this Weekly Sale are eligible.
Easy, right?

Now which games to buy, then? With so many good choices, that's going to be a tad more challenging, but we're here to help.
Fans of tactical gameplay should look no further than The Banner Saga or Hard West, whose delicious narrative perfectly envelops their crunchy turn-based core. If you prefer building and managing, it's probably a good time to discover the Tropico series, Dungeons 2, Port Royale, or Grand Ages: Medieval. For more out-of-the-box experiences, make sure to check out Oh Sir!...The Insult Simulator, Zombie Night Terror, Pathologic Classic HD, and the fiendishly fun Antihero, among others.

Both the Weekly Sale and the unlockables offer will last until September 18, 4 PM UTC.
All the purchases you complete throughout the sale will be calculated by us once it is over and count towards your free games.
The free games will be distributed via email starting on Tuesday, September 19th.
You'll get to pick the games of your choice through that same email.
I would be interested in Crookz, Tropico 5, and Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, but they're missing their Linux versions here :(
Prices have risen by significantly lowering discounts since the last time I checked the games on sale.

RupertMurdock: How does choosing and picking work? Can't find anything...
Yeah good question, How do we choose the free games?

CharlesGrey: OK, this is going to be somewhat random and off-topic, but I was wondering about something.

I just checked out the promo artwork for Vikings - Wolves of Midgard, and I'm kinda put off by the hairstyle of the male character. Did real world vikings cut their hair like that... ? I'm talking about those haircuts with the sides shaved and long hair on top, whatever the official name for that is. Or those asymmetric hairstyles, with one side cut/ shaved off. Was that a thing, in historic Scandinavian culture? Or is it just a real world fashion trend, that is seeping into video games and other works of fiction?
I´m afraid, the hairstyles shown in games and tv series like Vikings are pure fantasy or modern hairstyles. There wasn´t one people called Vikings. There were many different peoples with own culture and appearance, and some of them shaved the backs of their heads. But it was a more simple look then shown in the media.
Always the same. i spend some money and the day after GOG gives away games if u spend..

Like we say in Holland: The devil always shits on the same pile..

Apart from that im fine.

tinyE: Does Hard West have movement points?
avatar
PaterAlf: Yes, if I remember correctly there are two action points you can use in every turn. You can either use it to move or to perfom other actions (like fire at enemies).

@GOG
Can you please offer upgrede options for games that have Deluxe Editions? I got base version of Kyn and Armikrog in the Pinata sale and would love to own the Deluxe versions instead.
shit

well I already have enough games.
Has anybody played Armikrog lately and can tell me, if it is still buggy as the reviewers say? Or is it patched to a playable state?

Edit: better english

GR00T: Still seems to be something wonky with the pricing. I loaded up on three games and was shown a total of 14 bucks or so. Go to checkout and prices are all changed so the total is now 26 bucks. So... yeah. Not pulling the trigger as yet, until I can be sure of the actual pricing.
@elcook
One recent previous promo also have similar problem.
I think GOG is understaffed, and their work are worse and worse.
Hello fine ladies and gents. I was wondering: what do you think about Zombie Night Terror? And also, if i decided to get it, which among the three free games should I get? I owe none of them.

Hard West is also interesting, but I really don't know what to think about it.

I would definitely buy Banner Saga 2, but alas my funds are no more than 7,70€ I have in the wallet from a sum of previous promos.

This is weird, this is at least the 5th promo this year where none of the games are on my wishlist. The only game I have in this promo is Hard Reset too.

The next big sale should be November right?

Yeah same here, I was going to buy amikrog for $3.69, i think thats what it was put in my cart now its like $9.69...Kyn was $1.99 now its $9.99.. Amikrog was the one i wanted though guess i shoulda been a little quicker on the draw before they fixed it cause it ain't worth $10 bucks IMO.

Zombie Night Terror is a lot like Lemmings... You have to order around a hoard of zombies, by choosing some of them to do different tasks (like setting a zombie to be a "blocker", which functions as a wall... or a thrower zombie, which will throw the other zombies over obstacles. A crawler zombie can climb walls... etc.)

Puzzles are pretty clever and fun. Challenging but not too challenging, and they gradually get harder as the game goes on. Music is nice too. :-p

Overall, I had a lot of fun with it, and would easily recommend it to any puzzle game fan, or anyone that liked Lemmings.

The only one from the free games that I've played it Tropico: Reloaded.... and I recommend that to everyone I meet. But I'm a city-builder geek. :-p

Hard Reset Redux is shown as 4.99 € but when you go on the product page of it or click on check out now it drops to 2.99 €... Bug?! It may keep people from buying it....
