We seem to be getting out of RVS and i've lost the willpower to keep up my charade. Also, I ran out of material.
I disagree on Lifthrasil's assertion -- why would the mod deny himself the fun? "YOU DON'T LIKE ME SO I'M GONNA TAKE MY BALL AND GO HOME" isn't something I see Zchinque doing. Keep in mind we did at one point see him post as a player, as well.
I also have flavor reasons to believe that anyone with power is to be distrusted -- Zchinque certainly has power.
I'm off of the Zchinque wagon because of Amok though. For most of RVS I was acting as though (as Damnation noted!) I had a post restriction. This was just for kicks, really. But Amok attempted to take advantage of that -- that's scummy as hell, especially the whole "who cares if he dies" refrain behind it. Was it funny? OH SURE. It was hilarious, really. But it came off as scummy to me, and I suspect Krypsyn noticed it too but couldn't place the why on it (his reason for voting amok is a bit weak, but he seems adamant on it).
Other than Amok I have no scum-reads.
I do agree with Lifthrasil -- Lynch All Liars is a tried and true method for hellish games, and the scum must always be liars by default (or else they wouldn't be very useful).
I want to bring up a few other things.
1: JMich has a point on the conflicting factions -- BUT! I have a Town role. That means that the other factions are still most likely anti-town, which means for the purposes of LAL treating non-town and scum as one-and-the-same is very viable. For those non-town factions, things might be more complex, but that just means town has to be on the lookout for the hidden power struggles being echoed in the thread as the days wear on.
