@CSPVG: When you claimd to be a naive cop earlier, what gave you the clue that you were naive? Was it clearly written out? Something's starting to bother me here...
I made my claim in posts 443. As I said in that post, there were a few things that made me suspect I was a naive cop. To repeat them here:
1) Ghost's claim made me suspect, as I'd obviously investigated him/ her on the first night( this made me deeply suspicious of Ghost, until post 449, as after he/ she explained how their night action worked, then it sounded like kind of a joke role).
2) My role PM is odd in that it is written in verse form. It refers to Constable Bastion, a character in Thorbjorn Egner's When the Robbers Came to Cardamom Town. In said book, Constable Bastion is concerned with making people happy. As such, my role PM is filled with injunctions to be nice, and to treat people well. The children's book nature of my role PM suggests to me that I may not necessarily be the sanest of policemen.
3) I also noted flub's death in my original claim post. As he was as Tony Hill- Town Cop( which, after a bit of googling, turns out to be a fictional character, created by Scottish crime writer Val McDermid), I thought that two sane town cops would be a bit unlikely.*
When I vacillated back to thinking I was an ordinary cop, it was because( as I have explained) I made a fallacious assumption. I got one right read, and then assumed I must be a normal cop. Just because Ghost happened to be town, does not mean that I am not a naive cop.
Coda: Having read up a bit about Tony Hill on Wikipedia, though the character of Tony Hill may have psychological and emotional problems, he is at least a seemingly competent policeman.
