I now want JMich's idea to be correct... but I'm not ready to jump on this wagon to find out. We've lost 5 townies (counting the mod) and not one scum. And I don't get a scum read from SirPrimalform as much as I do from Vitek and amok. And I'm leaning on JMich now too a bit -- his posts are getting more and more accusatory.

Pardon my absence - meant to post earlier in the morning, but have been feeling ill.

The problems I have with the "dodgy shift key" explanation are twofold:

1) The letters always start words.

2) The backspace key presumably still worked.

I'm also not terribly sure how a post restriction of the sort (as you seemed to be hinting at in post #322) would work, as it seems to be for only the one post - I'd consider the other suggestion of a day power, but as you said I'm not sure that would have been enough to trigger it.

Well I think there are probably only 3 mafia members and I think at least two of them are on my wagon. If there was only one at the moment, the other two would have lynched me by now.

My voices do tell me that my list of suspects now actually has 9 names on it, but they are ordered in terms of threat levels to me, and it is a 66% mach with my top three. I like weekends, they are so often filled with friends and play. Sometimes, though, those friends are demanding, and sometimes their "play" feels more like manual labor. I don't like weekends where I don't get enough sleep and feel sore afterwards. No, not like THAT; get your dang collective minds out of the gutter! I don't think I like gutters either.

Sorry for not posting. I did keep up with the thread (not hard). but every time I would get set to make a post someone or something would need my attention. It was a busy weekend for me.

As for the state of the game, I just have to say that the recent revelations by SirPrimalform leave me wanting. He says that those capitalization in that one post were just a malfunctioning shift key?! So, they just happened to all start at the beginning of words, ending up spelling something coherent, and actually pointed to someone that he had just moved his vote off of? Riiight. That sounds entirely probably and plausible...

Then, comes his claim. I am a fan of claiming when someone is close to lynch. It is a way to get reads on folks without having to lynch someone potentially pro-town. I have a question regarding the claim, however: Why, if you are Batman, are you in an asylum? What does your flavor text have to say about that? I mean, I could see why you might be in here if you are The Riddler, the Joker, the Penguin, Two Face, Mr. Freeze or even, possible Cat Woman (or any other villains that I have deigned not to list).

Okay, now I need to get ready to go help someone haul plants from a nursery to their house. I am sure I'll be enlisted to do some digging at some point (not today, thankfully). Man, my weekend of wonder continues!
