ZFR: Lift, in all the times playing Secret Hitler, was such a question even necessary after a fascist policy? Did any chancellor ever give an answer that's not 2F? Like "damn, you caught me."
avatar
Lifthrasil: Of course no president would say that. But still I always ask the question, because how it is answered may give hints. Unfortunately we have the disadvantage that we couldn't see dedo's face when he answered, which is a big part of playing this on a table. The bluffing and reading, just like when playing poker.
I meant chancellor (scene) not president (dedo). A president has wiggle room, but a chancellor must say 2F were passed to him. Though Brasas makes a good point of delibertely pass F to investigate.
So, I didn't get much info this round. FFF was possible enough and I can't condemn neither scene nor dedo. Scene can't be cycled at the moment. So do we investigate the one who is more probable to be a liberal since only me and Lift can be cycled? And do we trust dedo if he says brasas or Adalia is liberal?
Brasas, all you do is shitpost. You haven't brought diddly of worth to the discussion.

The summation of your numerous walls of text is ZFR and RW are just so scummy without a wit of real content or explanation. You clearly aren't just tunneling because you are being just too entirely dismissive of EVERY other post being made.

---------

I'll go back to why I have a town lean on ZFR...

Beyond the useful analysis of pointing out possibilities that others have missed, it's an analysis of that 2nd government...

He waffled and voted against himself. Sure, it's odd. But what does that mean? Does odd mean scummy?

So let's look at it, if he's Hitler? Does that make sense? Seems Hitler is sure as heck going to try to get confirmed when the opportunity presents itself. His vote torpedoed his own nomination. It doesn't matter if the president is Lib or Fas, he can count on them supporting him. So clearly not Hitler.

As to Fascist worried he is being setup? That makes little sense either.
But there are two angles I can see for it:
1) Both Kusu and ZFR being both fascists meaning Kusu exposed both of them and the subsequent fascist policy taints both of them.
2) ZFR was setting up groundwork for a dispute with Kusu.

Either way, I find it rather curious with all the "concern" over ZFR's actions that both Dedo and Scene voted in favor of that government. Of course that "concern" didn't seem to start until ZFR looked like a decent bet for being a liberal. Thus I find it far more likely that those slinging mud are fascists trying to tarnish potential players for the Lib bloc. Because if it grows too large, they are in trouble.

How about answering the question? What did you do? You were part of 2 liberal governments; fair enough - that earns you our trust as long as less than 3Fs are given. But did you provide any insightful reads or analyses? A single line here or there? I must have missed the part where you started shouting and turning the room upside down. And really, given the harassment RW had from the scene team, would any of that have been helpful?

So please refrain from "it's your fault that dedo was elected president" statements. They're only antagonizing and not helping anybody.

Provoking reactions is as useful as analysis
Incidentally, greek,

Now I'm gonig to demand an explanation for this

greeklover: Mmmm!!!
I have guessed one of brasas' strategies and it's reaaaaally good.
But I can't say it loudly.
Brasas, just continue to do what you are doing.
I didn't comment back then because if Brasas was doing some textbook strategy that you knew about and it was beneficial for town that scum were not aware of it, then I didn't want to spoil it (but if so, why did you bring it up instead of keeping quiet too?)

But now I ask for an explanation.

Or is the above Hitler letting Brasas know that he figured out who the fascists are?

Well, I had figured something out but I don't remember it now:) I'll have to check past pages again, will post in a few hours.
Message to everyone :
Posting valid analysis doesn't make you trustable.
Until now all of you posted the obvious plays and some logical conclusions. Expecting others to trust you because of this and getting impatient /angry when they don't is bad play in my book. And absolutely nobody proved that someone else is fascist. You are trying to pick on behaviors/words/votes that can be interpreted both ways. If you had posted stuff that is helpful in the direction of discovering who is who, liberals would have a clear image of the game right now, and we don't, not as a team at least.

And I see no reason that some people trust others that haven't been at least 90% confirmed.

Off topic, brasas had guessed that lift-me government would probably get all yes votes except his. I see this as a manipulation of the vote.

Sure take your time. But maybe even if you don't remember what it is now, you can at least remember this: if whatever it was was so important that "you couldn't say it loudly" then why the heck did you say it? Why bring it up?

So here is another line of thought:

Let's assume greek is Hitler. First government, he had to pass L, would be suicide to expose himself so early. Third government, it would still create lots of stink around him if he passed F. Plus he was chancellor this time, he had much less wiggle room and he would be exposing himself completely Lift. Passed L - and now he's the #1 credible guy.

Would that explain his incessant "pick me! let's quickly get back to me!"?

Side note, another thing that struck me as odd was him constantly referring to the strategy guide - yeah, I can see how being Hitler can be problematic for a newbie - yet again quite often playing the I'm-a-newbie card "what does this mean? what does that mean?" Seriously you took the trouble to sarch for a guide but couldn't look yourself for WIFOM's meaning, one google click away. End side note.

But there is still a problem with this plan: he doesn't know who his fellow fascists are, and he needs the F policies. So he picks RW as his choice; the one offering him most opportunity to change his mind and take his pick from the last trio, and sits back. Once all the accusations started he's figured it out.
He now knows Brasas, but he's not sure that Brasas knows that he knows.
So he sends the above message ("Brasas, I know. Go ahead"), and changes his vote to dedo, thinking of going the dedo-Brasas route.

Was that the reason for Brasas's "default NO"?? To make it easier for a newbie Hitler to pick him out?

@everyone: would like your thoughts and opinions on the above.

Lifthrasil: ...
@Lift, pinging you in particular, since being the most Secret Hitler experienced player, and the #2 trusted person, I'd really appreaciate your input.

@everyone: whatever the case, it's imperative that we do not let fascists reach the 3F point.

ZFR:
I remember that I thought brasas was liberal and using a technique that would show from the reaction of someone that he is fascist but I couldn't say it of course because then fascists would change behavior. Now I don't remember what it was.

And presenting a logical scenario where I am Hitler or fascist is ok with me. The thing is there is a PROVEN very big chance I am liberal and one of the best candidates for cycling. If you are not scum, why are you trying to change the trust of others in me? Why second thoughts at this point?
avatar
greeklover: The thing is there is a PROVEN very big chance I am liberal.
No, no, no. The thing is there is a PROVEN very big chance you are not fascist.

Anyway, whatever it is, you're the best candidate for chancellor, no argument from me there. If you're Hitler, you can't hurt us yet and if you're liberal then we're golden.

Ok we are good. I also posted something about brasas before your previous post.

You didn't answer my question: why bring it up at all?

Why take a risk that fascist would figure out Brasas is up to something and change their behavior? Surely as a liberal that risk is more important then letting Brasas know how clever you are.

I obviously thought it wasn't possible to be detected.
And I meant the other post before that, maybe you didn't see it as you were typing yours.

OK, saw that. I'm not sure I follow. What do you mean "manipulation of the votes"?
